Responsibilities
  • - Leading a team of manufacturing professionals and managing the production schedule
  • - Training, evaluating work performance, and providing feedback to manufacturing professionals
  • - Participating in strategy formulation by providing production metrics to the management team
  • - Ensuring successful implementation of various management decisions
  • - Handling technical and administrative issues that arise
  • - Performing special tasks as directed by the Manufacturing Manager
  • - Implement continuous improvement activities that support Barry-Wehmiller’s Lean Manufacturing initiatives and Safety Covenant
Education

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field preferred; minimum of Associate’s degree required

Experience
  • - Five or more years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment desired, preferably in electrical equipment
  • - Lean manufacturing experience preferred
  • - Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
  • - Knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel, and Outlook required
