Responsibilities
  • • Candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, quality, consistency, and execution of control system projects.
  • • The position requires strong organization and planning skills, in addition to strong technical capability.
  • • This position will include responsibility for leading a team of controls engineers to successfully execute multiple concurrent projects.
  • • Candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of standards and best practices.
  • • This position provides the opportunity to grow and develop a technical team through training, mentoring, as well as recruiting new hires.
  • • Candidate will actively participate with regional Control System Integration leadership.
  • • Candidates must possess good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of management, clients, and vendors.
Education
  • • B.S. in Electrical Engineering is preferred, but consideration will be given to other engineering degrees based on actual experience.
Experience
  • • Minimum 15 years of experience in developing and providing automation solutions for the consumer products industries.
  • • Technical experience should include design of electrical control systems as well as automation programming for process and packaging applications.
  • • Experience should include a strong record of successful client interface.
  • • Rockwell hardware and software solutions experience is required.
  • • Experience with Siemens, Wonderware, and GE software\hardware is a plus.
  • • Candidates with experience in food, beverage, and personal care industries are preferred.

Travel

Travel will be required in customer development activities, installation and start-up support, Design Group management meetings, company sponsored training and industry related seminars.
